Langley Buck is a Middle Tennessee native whose love for music began at the age of six. After a rich Classical homeschool education that included piano, choir, handbells, music theory, and congregational singing, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Middle Tennessee State University in 2025. There, she was profoundly impacted by her studies under Dr. Angela Tipps and Dr. Eunbyol Ko.

Langley is passionate about helping students discover the same joy in music that inspired her as a child. She has taught piano to both children and adults since her sophomore year of college.  Since graduating, teaching piano has been her full-time focus.  Ms. Buck’s experience as a music theory tutor during college, combined with her study of conducting, strengthened both her leadership as a musician and her dedication to continually growing as a teacher.   She has a mind for excellence, a heart for encouragement, and a passion for equipping others with a solid musical foundation.

Having studied music under both Mirandi Herrenbruck and Reneé Chapman’s in their theory and choral programs, Langley is honored to now teach alongside the mentors who shaped her own musical journey prior to college. Whether teaching private piano lessons, music theory, or working with ensembles, her greatest joy is helping students grow in confidence, skill, and a lifelong love of music.

When she’s not teaching, Langley enjoys rock climbing, knitting, reading, traveling, and spending time in the sunshine with her tuxedo cat, Dottie.
